How the assessment works
There are six areas: strategy and value, data and visibility, process and workflow, technology and delivery, governance and risk, and people and operating model. Each area has three questions. Each question has five answers, from what happens when nothing is in place (scored 0) to what good looks like (scored 4). "Not sure" scores 0, because not knowing is worth knowing.
An area's score is its three answers added up, divided by 12 and shown out of 100. Your Readiness Index is the plain average of the six. Every area counts the same, so the result is easy to explain to your board.
Your index sets your stage: Nobody steering (0 to 24), Getting reliable numbers (25 to 44), Owners in place (45 to 64), AI in daily use (65 to 84) or AI run on results (85 to 100). One rule beats the average. Take the lower of your data and visibility score and your governance and risk score. Your stage can sit at most one step above what that score alone would give. AI built on weak data or loose rules fails in practice, however good everything else looks.
Your three priorities are the questions where you scored lowest, each with one practical next step. The suggested first step depends on your stage and on what you most want to automate. Physical work points to a quick camera check on images you already have, or to a proper trial on your line. Office work points to a three-week sprint on one workflow, or to the Diagnostic first if you are at the first stage. Decisions, or not sure yet, point to the four-week Diagnostic. If you tell us you already have pilots, we also point you to the six-week Pilot to Production Sprint.
What this assessment is not
It isn't an audit. It reads your answers, not your systems, so it is only as accurate as the answers you give.
It doesn't rank you against other companies. There is no comparison data behind it, only your answers.
There's no AI model behind it either. It runs in your browser from a fixed set of questions. Nothing reaches us unless you press "Discuss your result with a founder" and send the form, and you see exactly what's included before you send it.
