Independence
Every recommendation shows the options we rejected, and why.
- Doing nothing is always on the list, with its cost set out next to the other options.
- No referral money moves in either direction between us and any vendor or partner.
- If a founder has any link to a vendor you're considering, we tell you in writing before you decide.
Your data
Your data stays where your policies say it must, including inside your own country.
- We work inside your own systems and accounts from the first week, including cloud regions and data centres in your own country.
- Before we receive any data, we tell you in writing what we'll hold, where it's stored, which tools touch it, and when it's returned or deleted.
- Want a mutual non-disclosure agreement first? Ask, and we'll sign one before you share details.
- A data processing agreement is available on request.
- We never name a client, or describe their work, without written permission.
- Send us your security questionnaire. We answer every question, including the ones where the answer is no.
Intellectual property
What we make for you is yours.
- You own the code, data, footage, labels and documents we create for you, on the terms written in the scope.
- We build in your accounts and repositories, so the work is yours as it's made, not only at handover.
- Our own methods and templates that existed before your project stay ours. Where they're part of what you receive, the scope gives you the right to use them.
- We never use your data, footage or labels for another client without your written permission.
Conflicts
We check for conflicts first, and decline work that has one.
- Before every proposal, we check the work for conflicts of interest across everyone who would deliver it, and against our own vendor relationships.
- If a conflict can't be handled cleanly, we turn the work down and tell you why, as far as confidentiality allows.
- Nothing from either founder's current or past employer ever enters EliteWorks work: no code, data, documents or confidential know-how.
- We don't approach your staff to work with us during a project or for 12 months after it.
Controlled technology
Work we never take on.
- We don't take on work involving controlled defence technology.
- We screen every project for it before we propose.
Working with us from outside India
Buying from outside India? Here's what to know.
- Your contract is with EliteWorks. The scope states the fee and its currency, INR or USD, before work starts.
- Our business day runs 09:00 to 18:00 in Bengaluru, and a founder replies to every message within one business day. Tell us your time zone, and we'll suggest call times that suit your working day.
- We work remotely, and on site where the scope says the work needs it.
- We answer your supplier questionnaire in full, including the questions where our answer is not yet.
Certifications
Certifications, and how we answer your security review today.
EliteWorks holds no certifications today.
When we earn one, you'll see the standard, what it covers and the dates it's valid for, right here.
