Why does our defect rate matter so much?

Because when defects are rare, a camera that catches almost all of them can still reject more good parts than bad ones. The robotics and AI vision page walks through an example. So we report how many rejects are real defects, and how many good parts get rejected, at the defect rate your line actually runs. Your business case then uses the numbers you will see on the line.

Do we have to buy cameras or hardware first?

No. We test candidate hardware during the five weeks, so you decide what to buy after you've seen the results on your own parts. If test hardware has to be rented, you'll know before you sign.

How are the lighting and optics handled?

EliteWorks delivers them as part of the trial, with the right machine vision engineering for production-line inspection. The test design, the AI model work and the final call on whether to go ahead come from the same engagement.

What if people appear in the footage?

Before anything is recorded, we agree masking, how long footage is kept and who can see it, and we follow your site's privacy rules.

Who owns the images and the model?

You do. The labelled images, the models and the code go into your own repositories as the work is done.

Next comes a build in stages, or a good reason not to buy.

A yes leads to a build of 8 to 16 weeks, depending on the hardware, switched on in stages, each one working before the next begins.
