Workflow Automation Sprint

One slow workflow, fixed and automated in three weeks.

Pick the workflow that takes up most of your team's week. In three weeks we map it, cut the steps that shouldn't exist, and automate the rest on tools you already pay for, with a person approving anything important. You see the before and after on real cases, and you keep a ranked list of what to fix next.

3 weeks from start. Led by Rahul Nath. Fixed fee, agreed before work starts.

What you can decide at the end

Stop paying smart people to copy and paste. One workflow fixed, automated and measured in three weeks.

Fit

Who this is for, and who it is not for.

It is for

  • COOs and process owners whose skilled people lose hours to re-typing, chasing and reconciling
  • Teams whose last automation broke because the process underneath was never fixed
  • Leaders who want one clear win before funding a bigger automation plan

It is not for

  • Workflows nobody owns. Someone needs the authority to change how the work runs
  • Replacing a core ERP (enterprise resource planning) or CRM (customer relationship management) system
  • Work where nobody can say, even roughly, how long it takes or how often it goes wrong today

Before we start

What we need from you before day one.

Access to the systems the workflow touches, in week one.

A process owner who can approve changes.

A starting number agreed on day two: time per case, hours or errors.

Real cases to run in week three.

If system access or a process owner is still missing at the end of week one, you get the redesigned process and a ready-to-build specification for the automation instead of a running automation. We confirm that with you in writing before week two starts.

Week by week

Workflow Automation Sprint, week by week.

  1. Week 1

    What you see
Walk-throughs with the people who do the work. Starting number agreed on day two
    What we do
Process mapped, wasted steps counted, capacity of each step worked out, and the step that holds everything up found
    By the end
Today's process and starting number signed off by the process owner
  2. Week 2

    What you see
Redesign session with the process owner, and changes approved
    What we do
Useless steps removed. One automation built on your tools, with a person approving key actions
    By the end
    Automation working on test cases
  3. Week 3

    What you see
The automation runs on real cases, and results are compared with the starting number
    What we do
Runbook written, the process owner takes charge, and the next automations ranked by how much time each frees up at the bottleneck
    By the end
Next step agreed with the process owner

Deliverables

What you receive at the end.

  1. A map of today's process, with the wasted steps counted
  2. The capacity of each step, and the bottleneck named
  3. A redesigned process, with an owner for each step
  4. One working automation on your tools, tested on real cases
  5. Before and after results against the day-two starting number
  6. A runbook, handover notes and a ranked list of what to automate next

Who needs to agree

What each person who signs off gets from this step.

For the managing director or chief executive

Three weeks, one workflow, and a clear before and after. Then roll it out, fix the next one, or stop.

For the operations head

Your team walks us through the work in week one and checks real cases in week three. A person still approves anything that touches a customer, a payment or a record.

For the IT and plant systems head

Built on platforms you already own, under your access rules, and documented so your team can run and change it. We only suggest a new licence when your current tools can't do the job, and we explain why.

For the CFO

Judged on hours, time per case or errors you already track, against a starting number your own team agreed on day two.

For risk and information security

Access, data flows and approval points are written down before anything is built. Nothing touches customer or financial records without a named person approving it.

Commercial

A fixed price for the three weeks, agreed in writing up front.

The scope names the fee, what you receive and the start window before any work begins.

Questions

What buyers ask before they write to us.

What counts as one workflow?

One process with a clear start and finish, one owner and a result you can measure. For example, raising a customer invoice once delivery is signed off, or taking a new supplier's onboarding request through its checks.

Which automation tools do you use?

The ones you already pay for, wherever they can do the job: the workflow features in your CRM or ERP, or a low-code platform you already have. If they can't, we tell you why and what the alternative costs.

Will AI be part of it?

Only where AI beats a simple rule on your real cases. Most first automations should be plain rules and routing. Any AI step is tested on real cases first, and a person approves what it produces.

How is the build delivered?

EliteWorks delivers the build end to end, on your platform and under your access rules, with the right automation engineering for your tools. Every automation is checked before it runs on real cases.

Is three weeks really enough?

For one workflow, yes. That's enough to redesign it, automate it and measure the result. It isn't enough for a whole programme, and it isn't meant to be. Bigger jobs run as a series of sprints, and after each one you decide whether to continue.

What follows

Then fix the next one, where it saves the most.

The ranked list puts the next sprint where it frees the most time at the step that holds everything else up.

If a workflow is ready for AI, the Pilot to Production Sprint comes next. Or work down the list yourselves. The runbook is written so you can.
